My career highlight would have to be winning the Wakesurf World Championships in 2018.
My Favorite Warm-up trick is the Shuv-it Grab. Something about popping the board from you're feet and catching it with your backhand is super satisfying.
One event I look forward to every year is the Nautique USA National Championships. This event is special for me because it is held at BSR Surf Resort where I can maximize my surf trip. I can go from my competition run behind the G23 to getting barreled before dinner in the surf pool.
My favorite Nautique athlete to ride with is Noah Flegal because he is always pushing the limits on the water. Every time we ride we are trying something new and having a blast along the way.
My essentials for a day on the water are a skimboard, surfboard, friends and family, good music, sunscreen and good vibes!
My hobbies outside of Wakesurfing are mostly still water related such as Surfing, Skimboarding, Foil Surfing, and traveling to new places to find new waves to document with my closest friends.
The most rewarding part of my job is passing my passion of surfing to others and watching it affect their life. It's cool to also be a coach and see riders land their first 360 with me one year, and then see them at every event on tour competing the next year.
One of the most difficult things I have ever done is decide what I want to do in life. Despite the critics, I followed my gut feeling and I couldn't be happier today!
